"War on Christmas" Reconcilation Show Dec. 2

Last year, the media eagerly informed us that we were witnessing the opening salvos in the War on Christmas (gasp). The War continues to rage this year, albeit in somewhat abated form (we have other wars to deal with). In any case, partisans on both sides are huddled in their homes, rationing their egg nog and their [Christmas/Holiday] Spirit (depending on which side they're on). Suffice it to say it's a scary time to be alive.

But we will not let the War on Christmas case a chill over this December. This Saturday, we (that includes you) will come together as musical diplomats. We will lay down our arms, make a joyful noise unto [insert diety of choice here], and bid the so-called War on Christmas adieu.

Sadly, Ian will not be able to play with us this Saturday (real gasp), but Jared and I will forge ahead like Santa's reindeer with a menorah full of advent candles under their tails (btw, this will be our entry in the 2006 Simile Awards).
